The Framing Company has over 30 years’ experience in the framing of fine art and other services related to the industry.

Established in the 1980s by Vera and Anthony Schmidt, the company has grown its portfolio to include local and international contemporary galleries, interior architecture and design firms, corporate and private collectors, as well as many of South Africa‘s most celebrated artists. Our framing business offers a variety of high-quality products and services related to the design and fine art industries.

Our framing techniques range from highly specialised conservation and archival practices to budget-friendly products and services to best suit clients’ needs.

Our staff have a wealth of knowledge gained from assisting artists with the display of intricate artworks, working on large-scale corporate projects and installations, working closely with contemporary galleries on both local and international exhibitions as well as providing one-on-one consultations with private collectors and residential clients looking for custom framing.
